Flächenbilanzierung anthropogen überprägter Böden in Sachsen-Anhalt

Die Autoren ermittelten den Anteil anthropogen überprägter Böden in Sachsen-Anhalt. Berücksichtigt wurden funktional nachteilige Bodenveränderungen durch Bergbau, Ablagerungen, Altstandorte, überwiegende Vollversiegelung, Schiffsverkehr, überwiegende Teilversiegelung, nicht bebaute sonstige Siedlungsfläche, Militärübung/Krieg, Erosion durch Wasser, Schadstoffbelastung durch Lufteintrag und Überflutung (Schwermetalle, Organika, Versauerung, Stickstoffeutrophierung) sowie Moorverlust und Moordegradierung. Die Datenauswertung erfolgte mittels GIS-Werkzeugen unter Verwendung von Flächen-, Linien- und Punktdaten sowie Literaturangaben.
Die Brutto-Flächensumme der anthropogenen Bodenveränderungen beträgt 57 % der Landesfläche. Sie schließt mögliche Überlagerungen von Flächen unterschiedlicher Kategorien, d. h. Bodenflächen mit mehreren Belastungsfaktoren ein. Die überlagerungsfreie Nettoflächensumme – Bodenflächen mit mehreren Belastungsfaktoren gehen nur einmal in die Kalkulation ein – beträgt 45 % der Landesfläche.

The authors calculated the amount of soils in Saxony- Anhalt modified by man. The study considered functional detrimental soil modifications like mining, deposits, postindustrial sites, predominant complete sealing soils, facilities of ship traffic, predominant partial sealing soils, none built-up settlement areas, effects of military and war, water bound erosion, pollution load as a result of flooding or airborne input (heavy metals, organic compounds, acidification, nitrogen eutrophication) as good as fen degradation. The data analyses were made with the help of GIS-tools by use of polygon, line and point features and references.
The gross-area sum of those kind of man modified soils in Saxony-Anhalt is 57 % of the total area of Saxony-Anhalt. This sum included overlays of more than one of the addressed soil modifications. Additionally we calculated an overlay free net-area sum, so that sites which were exposed to more than one of the 11 categories are counted only one time. The net-sum is 45 % of the total area of Saxony-Anhalt.
