Getrennte Sammlung von Bioabfall in Deutschland

Umsetzung der Vorgabe des § 11 Abs. 1 KrWG

Mit § 11 Abs. 1 KrWG wird spätestens ab dem 01.01.2015 die getrennte Sammlung von Bioabfällen durch die öffentlich-rechtlichen Entsorgungsträger vorgeschrieben. Der Beitrag stellt in einem kurzen Überblick die Geschichte der getrennten Sammlung von Bioabfällen und die gewandelte Bedeutung des Begriffs „Bioabfall“ dar. Anschließend werden Inhalt, Reichweite und Verbindlichkeit der Vorschrift von § 11 Abs. 1 KrWG betrachtet und ein Ausblick auf die mögliche zukünftige Verordnung zur Umsetzung dieser Vorschrift gegeben.

With § 11 para 1 KrWG the separate collection of bio-waste by the public waste management authorities will be required by law at the latest from 1.1.2015. The article presents a brief overview of the history of the separate collection of bio-waste and the changing impact of the term „bio-waste“. Afterwards content, coverage and commitment of the prescription of § 11 para 1 KrWG are considered and an outlook on the possible future regulation implementation this prescription is given.
