Shakespeare without Boundaries. Festschrift in Honor of Dieter Mehl
Boundaries come in a variety of sizes, flavors, and historical shapes; they serve or impose a comparable range of uses and limits. The editors of this large and generously illustrated Festschrift for Dieter Mehl have found seven boundaries to contain and liberate their twenty-five international contributors: “Early Modern Playwriting and Editing: Boundaries and Thoroughfares”; “Beyond the Bounds of Medium: From Page to Stage to World Wide Web”; “Crossing Intratextual Boundaries”; “Crossing Intertextual Boundaries”; “Dissolving National Boundaries”; “Boundary Crossings: Translation and National Discourses”; “Boundary Crossings: ‘Afterlives’; or, Shakespeare without Boundaries.”
