Lean Six Sigma

Lean Six Sigma integrates the management concepts Lean Management and Six Sigma into a single holistic approach. The necessity of the fusion of these two approaches is expressed by George (2002) as follows: “Lean cannot bring a process under statistical control; Six Sigma alone cannot dramatically improve process speed or reduce invested capital.”
