Verhindern Geokunststoffe die Entlassung von Deponien aus der Nachsorge?

Derzeit gibt es intensive Diskussionen über die Entlassung von Deponien aus der Nachsorgephase. Die Deponie müsste dafür nach der Deponieverordnung (DepV) u. a. „insgesamt dauerhaft standsicher“ sein. Geokunststoffe erfüllten ihre Funktion über einen Zeitrahmen von lediglich mindestens hundert Jahren. Dies stehe somit im Widerspruch wird argumentiert. Das neue LANUV-Arbeitsblatt 33 schließt daher im Moment eine Entlassung aus der Nachsorge von Deponien faktisch aus, wenn in den Böschungen Geokunststoffprodukte eingesetzt wurden. Auch der Fachbeirat der BAM zur Zulassung von Geokunststoffen, Polymeren und Dichtungskontrollsystemen hat sich daher mit der Thematik beschäftigt. Die aktuelle Situation soll daher auf dieser Grundlage diskutiert werden.

Currently, there are intensive discussions regarding the discharge of landfills from the aftercare phase in Germany. According to the German Landfill Ordinance (DepV), the landfill site has to be permanently stable overall for this purpose. Geosynthetics fulfill their function over a period of at least one hundred years. Therefore, this is contradictory is argued. That is why the LANUV-Worksheet 33 currently excludes discharge from the aftercare of landfills if geosynthetic products have been used in the embankments. Thus, the BAM advisory board for the approval of geosynthetics, polymers and leak detection systems has also dealt with this topic. The current situation is discussed on this basis.
